Senior Web Developer/Analyst
Research, design, develop, implement, maintain, and enhance reliable Multi-Tier Web-based software applications and integration of web-based advanced database management systems using the Microsoft.NET framework and related technologies. Analyze client business requirements and existing data processing systems and develop strategies and frameworks for implementing Web-based solutions. Conduct system analysis, development and implementation for both the front- and back-end of various applications based on end-user’s functional requirements. Plan and lead the design and development of various software components and modules. Design, code, and implement unit test software solutions, prepare and participate in design walkthroughs and client demonstrations. Implement software engineering solutions using Microsoft Visual Studio ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server and Transact-SQL codes for the backend database. Develop work plans using C#.NET, JavaScript, XML, XSL, HTML, and ASP to program and test front-end processes. Design and implement database components. Develop complex database stored procedures, and triggers. Design and develop User Interfaces. Perform unit and quality assurance (QA) test for software modules, troubleshoot application codes and implement appropriate solutions. Maintain and apply current knowledge of software development tools and techniques, coordinate with the business analysis and quality assurance teams in providing technical support to users. Supervise Software/Web Developers and Database Administrator. Create and maintain technical documents, write software design document and assist training and demonstrations.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Info Systems, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a closely related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Software Developer, or any job title involving software development. Experience must include software development using C#.NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server, and JavaScript
Work location: AcuSys, Inc., 4401 Ford Avenue, Suite 100, Alexandria, VA 22302. Occasional travel to local client sites may be required. EOE
